Mozaïca Galleries that travel
Over the last three years, I had the pleasure to create Mozaica Galleries for people and organizations in Canada, in the United-States and in Europe. I am always delighted to be contacted from abroad by people with an interest in my Mozaica Galleries, and to discover all the human and artistic values that we share. It is both flattering to know that the works commissioned by these people will find a home in faraway places.
In this regard, I have been particularly intrigued last month, when I received a message from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital, from where the Axiata Foundation, a private organization that supports a training school for young leaders of the future. It wanted to order a thematic Mozaïca Gallery to mark the 20th anniversary of their renown Axiata Young Talent Programme.
I must tell you that it is with a really exceptional pleasure that I shipped on the 26th of October the two Mozaica Galleries comprised in this order. Then thinking about the fact that they would travel at the other end of the world, the brief post-partum episode that followed was more intense than usual. Nevertheless, I regained my senses and relished my thoughts concerning the size of the task that awaited me to even just sprinkle Mozaica Galleries along the vast space that spans from Kuala Lumpur to Montreal — what a challenge!
And to you, dear readers, I wanted to point that your interest for Mozaica Galleries is in all likelihoods the result of much more than a simple personal taste or a fleeting inspiration. It is indeed now evident to me that the universal attraction that my Mozaica Galleries exert transcends societies and ethnic groups, and leaves few observers indifferent.
Thank you all for your interest in my Mozaica Galleries !
